| Minutes of Meeting | On July 2nd, 2023, the inauguration ceremony of District Governor Ro Manju Phadke for Rotary District 31 31 was successfully concluded at DY Patil Medical College. The event was graced by the presence of Raju Subramaniam, the Rotary International Director of Rotary Zone 3 and 4, who served as the Chief Guest. The ceremony brought together approximately 700 Rotary members, including past district governors, assistant governors, office-bearers, directors of various Rotary projects, club presidents, and their respective teams from Rotary District 31. The distinguished gathering witnessed the introduction of Ro Manju Phadke by former District Governor Dr. Shailesh Palekar. During the event, the charge of leadership and responsibility was officially handed over from former District Governor Dr. Anil Parmar to District Governor-elect Ro Manju Phadke, who will serve for the term 2023-2024. Furthermore, the ceremony provided an opportunity to honor Bhagyashree Patil, the Chairman of DY Patil University Society and DY Patil Unitech Society, with a professional merit award in recognition of their notable contributions. A special highlight of the event was the felicitation of the donors of the Rotary Foundation and CSR companies who generously supported various social activities. Their financial support was acknowledged and appreciated for its significant impact in driving positive change. Ro. Raju Subrahmanyam, in his speech, reflected upon the remarkable social work accomplished by Rotary, emphasizing its immense impact on communities. District Governor Manju Phadke took the opportunity to share plans for the upcoming year, focusing primarily on initiatives in health, education, environment, and water. District Governor Manju Phadke Rotary Club of Pune Deccan Gymkhana Past President Dr. Amit Andre handed over the charge to the new President Dr. Umesh Falak and his Board of Directors. Dr. Amit Andre, who served as the Past President, symbolically handed over the responsibilities and leadership of the club to Dr. Umesh Falak. This transition marked an important moment for the Rotary Club of Pune Deccan Gymkhana as they welcomed their new President and his dedicated team to guide and steer the club's activities and initiatives for the upcoming term. The program was attended by all former district governors, further fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie within the Rotary community.
