| Minutes of Meeting | MINUTES OF BOD HELD ON 6th August, 2023, at 10.00 am at Core Concept Clinic, Apte Road Members Present: 1. Dr. Umesh D. Falak - President 2. Sarita Goenka - Secretary 3. Opening and Welcome: The meeting commenced at 10:15 am, with President Dr. Umesh D. Falak welcoming all the present board members. 2. Appreciation: President Dr. Umesh D. Falak praised Rtn Anita Kaulgud, Service Director, for successfully conducting her Avenue meeting before the Board Meeting. 3. Service Projects: a. Dhaga Project: Rtn Anita Kaulgud will sponsor Rs. 10,000/- for this project, benefiting four identified beneficiaries who will receive cloth to make bags. A sum of Rs. 5,000/- will cover the cost of the bag-making materials. Approved by BOD Action Points: Rtn Anita will upload the soft copy of the brochure and enquire about the material cost. Members to identify 4 beneficiaries. b. Digital Suraksha for Senior Citizens: Scheduled for August 20th, 2023, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Damle Hall. Rtn Sarita Goenka and Rtn Dr. Amit Andre will conduct the training. The registration charge is set at Rs. 100/- Action Points: PI Director Rtn Prachi Andre to prepare the flyer, and all members to get potential beneficiaries. c. Asmita Project: The training of 500 college-going daughters will commence on September 24th, 2023. The project cost per club is Rs. 69,000. Dr. Umesh D. Falak, Sarita Goenka, and Prachi Andre will each sponsor Rs. 10,000/- for the project. Other members can express their interest in sponsorship. Action Points: PI Director Rtn Prachi Andre to prepare the flyer, and all members to gather beneficiaries. d. Borewell Recharge: Recharge of two borewells, with an expense of Rs. 30,000/- per borewell. Efforts to find sponsors for the same, and we are also looking for funds from crowd funding. e. Tree Plantation: Tree plantation project has been arranged at Velhe at the farmhouse of Rtn. Sanjay Dapodikar. We plan to plant 1000 plants on August 12th, 2023. 4. Interact Installation: The first-time installation will take place at the newly formed three Interact Schools in Barav, Udapur and Alephata in Junner Area on August 18th, 2023. 5. Medical Projects: a. Interact Club of Barav – Free Eye Check-Up Camp: To be held at the Interact School of Barav on 18th August, 2023. Dr. Ravindra Kolte will conduct the camp. Specs will be distributed to the needy students. A budget of Rs. 23,000/- is approved. b. Free Dental Check-Up Camp: Proposed at Interact School in Udapur, Junner on the same day, with Dr. N. Pashankar conducting the camp. The same will be help after confirmation from the school and subject to availability of time. 5. Career Guidance Lecture: Dr. Amit Andre will deliver a lecture at the Udapur Interact School in Junner on August 18th, 2023. 6. Guidance by Rtn Mamata Kolhatkar will be given to the Interact Students of Alephata Action Points: Rtn Dr. Amit Andre will handle logistics for the installation and three projects at Junner. 7. Literacy Project: Rtn Mamata Kolhatkar will donate 'The Periodic Table' to Saraswati Vidyalaya costing Rs. 3,700/-. 8. Anganwadi Project: Rtn Vikas Tople has shortlisted 6-7 anganwadis in Kurkumbh, and 3-4 anganwadis in Akole for the project. The total project cost is approximately Rs. 20 Lacs for 20 anganwadis. The team of members who will manage the project are Rtn Vikas Tople, Dr. Pashankar, Dr. Alka Niranter, Mamata Kolhatkar, Anita Kaulgud, Prachi Andre, Umesh D. Falak. Action Points: Rtn Vikas Tople is exploring CSR funding options for the project. 9. DRT Meeting: The meeting will be scheduled next month based on the availability of DRT, Dr. Abhay Sontakke. 10. Joint RYLA with Laxmi Road Club is planned for the Interactors on 14 Sept during School hours. Shri Suresh Naik Sir, Ex Director of ISRO will deliver the lecture on Mission Chandrayan-3 in New English School, Tilak Road. Contribution of each club is Rs. 5000/- - 7,000/- per club. Sanctioned by BOD. 11. Installation of New Members: on 24th August. Admin Director is trying to get a Speaker or that day. 12. New Members application form and SOP has been finalised in the BOD. President and Membership Director will take it forward. 13. Proposed by Event Director-Anagha Pendse - Rakhi programme on 19th Aug for disabled children in Seva Sadan school & 31st Aug at Khadki army centre Rakhi function 14. President Dr. Umesh and FL Ketki have introduced new Member Mrs Leena Narkhede. She has attended our meetings two times. Her membership is approved by BOD. Request membership Director to complete her induction formalities. 15. Next BOD Meeting: The next BOD Meeting is set for Sunday, September 3rd. 16. Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 12 noon.
