On July 22, 2023, a successful vaccination camp was organized at Gyanada Prashala Kirkatwadi, Pune, in collaboration with Rotarian Dr. Umesh Falak, the esteemed president of the Rotary Club of Pune Deccan Gymkhana. The camp aimed to provide cervical cancer vaccines to 100 girls between the ages of 9 to 14 years from the school. The event was graced by the presence of Sarita Goenka and First Lady Row Ketki Falak, along with Row. Mamta Kolhatkar, Mr. Irshad Tamboli, and Dr. Sunil Patne. Their unwavering support and dedication helped ensure the smooth execution of the vaccination drive. The initiative received overwhelming support from all the students, teachers, and parents associated with Gyanada Prashala Kirkatwadi. It was heartening to witness the collective effort of the community to prioritize the health and well-being of these young girls. By providing the cervical cancer vaccine, the camp aimed to protect and empower the future generation of women against this life-threatening disease.
